Our attorneys have significant transactional and litigation experience in various areas of environmental law and represent clients in these areas before federal, state, and local regulatory agencies in this regard. We have successfully represented developers on various environmental issues concerning land mitigation, transfer of development rights, permitting, coastal construction and shore regulations, federal Superfund matters, regulatory enforcement and contamination assessments, and remediation.
Adorno & Yoss has also handled numerous variance requests and code enforcement issues before local and state administrative boards, and has litigated environmental issues pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 120. In addition, we have served as special counsel in instances where significant and complex remediation was required, or where requests for development have conflicted with the protection of environmentally sensitive lands.
Our Firm also represents lending institutions in overseeing assessments and remediation of environmental contamination on mortgaged properties, and in the issuing of opinion letters in such matters.
