The Real Estate group represents our clients in a multitude of lease transactions, from relatively small space leases to major transactions. We represent lessors and lessees in leasing matters, and the practice encompasses office, retail, warehouse and net/ground lease transactions.
In the retail area, we are regularly engaged on a variety of issues including REAs, going dark, radius restrictions, expansion, tenant bankruptcy and percentage lease issues.
Our net/ground lease practice encompasses sophisticated tax-driven transactions as well as traditional ground leases and sale/lease back transactions of development properties.
Our representation of lessors and lessees commences with letters of intent negotiation and structure and extends to related architectural, construction, permitting and other "work letter" issues, including power, telecommunications and other transactional issues.
We also represent property management and leasing companies, work with commercial litigators to provide representation of our clients in landlord-tenant and other litigation matters, including representation in bankruptcy court and administrative tribunals.
