Adorno & Yoss’ National Employment and Labor Law Practice Group represents businesses and governmental employers in age, disability, gender, national origin and religious discrimination matters, sexual harassment, whistle blower and retaliation suits, confidentiality agreements and restrictive covenant matters, and all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including employment contracts and labor relations. Our practice group attorneys have substantial experience and a successful track record representing employers in workplace matters.

Our extensive experience in the defense of lawsuits on behalf of our employer clients well positions us to serve as employment counselors, often allowing us to resolve employment disputes before a lawsuit is filed.

The Firm advocates the use of alternative dispute resolution programs, such as arbitration and mediation, designed to provide alternatives to disruptive and expensive litigation. We regularly mediate all types of workplace disputes on behalf of our clients. We represent employers in arbitrations and grievance proceedings, both in unionized and non-unionized environments. When employee-employer disputes do result in an administrative proceeding, grievance or lawsuit, we formulate a sensible cost effective business approach to the litigation or collective bargaining unit grievance. Our objective is to achieve the best possible result – at a cost that makes sense.
